I went to look at a PCX, they were extremely helpful, and offered: If I took the van up to their dealership they would be happy to try loading into our garage to see how/if it fitted. No obligation at all.
They were the ones that initially told me of the Vision, then I posted here.
Although I bought privately [pcx] I will be using them for servicing etc.
Not sure where you guys are at the moment, but might be of use??

Thanks, I will give them a call. Its not too far away. The two I tried were in Newcastle which is 50 miles in the other direction. The other two didnt answer the phone at one minute past five!
Ive emailed a couple of others including one with a used Vision from Autotrader with 220 miles on the clock £1500 I think.

Hi Phil
You may want to check the service schedule for the PCX.
A Honda dealer insisted on 2500 or 6 months (as the book says).
I queried this with the dealer and they said because of the small sump capacity they have had a number of engines seize due to low oil level and are now quite keen on this schedule.
This makes it an expensive scooter to keep on the road.
I don't know if other Honda scooters have this same service schedule.

Im sure I heard there was quite a strict service schedule for the Vision 110 as well. The problem with this is if you go off touring for months on end like we do what if it needs a service mid trip? Can it be done by any Honda Dealer say in France or Italy?
Its not a major issue if it can as they are all over. I presume it has to be done by a main dealer for the warranty. Can we also presume that once its out of warranty a service or oil change can be done easily yourself?
I suppose one of the appeals of our current 2 stroke bike is you just wack a bit of 2 stroke oil in the oil tank every now and again. Nothing to change or do.

I also had a call from Lloyds Motorcycles in Carlisle who are happy for us to test one out. However the chap at Lloyds who was very helpful and honest says it probably wont be as powerful as our current Peugeot and he thinks its a lot smaller. Im 16 and a half stone and Mrs D is 8 stone.
Both are a 60 mile trip and I think I might see if there is one nearer just to have a look at he size first.
