This unit is fitted into my Defender and use mainly for off road touring
Can not remember ever using it to find UK sites, and as we mainly wild camp in the back of beyond when abroad, then use the built in POI's
It has all sort of POI, fuel station,s banks, hotels etc, plus campsites,, as we normally use a site every 1 in 4/5 nights, all depending where we are, it will give a list and distance away, worked in Morocco once when it reckoned the nearest site was 80 miles away !! were high up in the Atlas at the time and certainly not a CC site but took us right to the front door
Most of the time ? comes up with a good list, normally with phone numbers as well
