The link I provided you with ;

The heater will boil a standard beaker of water (about 9 fluid ounces) in around 2 minutes.

quote from their ad, it is 500w, now if 2 minutes is too slow for you in a hotel room to make a drink I do not know what you are looking for, but I doubt you will find it..........

I also read your post carefully and it appeared from what you wrote that you wanted to boil water for a cuppa- a direct quote from your post - not bath in boiling water.

Well, if you're sat in an ambulance all day waiting, it would seem, for grass to grow you've got time to wait for the water to boil!

If only they would supply with an electric element so I could take when travelling without the motorhome, brews in hotel bedrooms, ship cabins etc?

You used to be able get a 12v element for brewing in the car but they used to warn you to keep the engine running whilst in use or they would flatten your battery before they go to the boil... Roadpro may still have them.
You can get a 240v version like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRAVEL-BOILER-IMMERSION-WATER-HEATER-ELEMENT -1500-WATT-/220667036529
Beware the hotel plastic tooth mug Rolling Eyes

I guess so and burning someone else's diesel as well helps the cost a bit. Wink

Been using a Collapsible Pack-Away Kettle since last summer and now leave the bulky Stainless Steel Gas Hob Kettle at home, saves significant amount of space.

The header of the home page is:

The Motorhome Experience sharing what we know, discovering what we don't

Now call me cynical, but the only "unlocked" item on there is the kettle. To read everything else a subscription is required.

Very strange for a first post me thinks!

This forum is about sharing. If you want to advertise your business you may wish to join as a trade member!

I agree with you so have removed the advertising link, leaving a worthless post which cannot be edited as the time limit has passed! Laughing

Thanks for raising awareness,

Dave
