One of you ride the bike the other drives the MH!

I tried to persuade MrsWez this would be a good plan but so far she hasn't gone for it Sad

Still, if I keep on suggesting it I may eventually wear her down Evil or Very Mad

Is this advice any help? Laughing

Ha brilliant!
I can imagine the conversation, you go and pitch up and I'll meet you there some time later when I've done a few twisties... Smile
I can also imagine the pain in my head when she hits me.

So I guess the next question is..... what other options do I have then if any to "tow" (or carry) a 270KG motorcycle?

Funny that! That's how I imagine the conversation going too!

Ahh now that looks interesting... no prices published though.
Will see how I get on with the trailer first anyway.

I carry my BMW R1200 GS (220kg) in an Ifor Williams box trailer...
Not the cheapest option but after you have open trailered your pride and joy 200 miles in driving rain behind your motorhome....
The state of the bike on arrival will make you cry... Sad

Hi, after towing for over thirty years all over europe, we all worry about the thing behind, all i can tell you is, just make very sure you strap it down more than normal,if in uk roads are crap and everthing moves, but a extra couple of tie downs are the answer, i think the look behind me thing is the same for everone but if secure dont worry, but the thing i ended with is a box four wheel trailer so no worries, security is a personal choice,so many things you can do, just remember that if you dont pull it down really hard on the suspension that it will move up and down and will become loose, also i agree with a earlier post i had a full width poly mudstopper fitted, but not as good as a full width rubber mudflap, hope this helps, regards harvey,

Cant advise on a trailer as our scooter goes on a rack but what I will say is you NEED to get to Switzerland! Priority number one!

We had great fun on our little bike there but truly wished for once we had something bigger.
