I was checking out your route thinking of a change of scenery. I have been up to Vic before (good Hymer dealer there) and the road was fine. However, the route N of Camprodon, on French side, looks fairly interesting!
Any advice/comments on that stretch of road? Seems about 30 miles of twists, turns and roundabouts.
Thanks.
Sal

Sal, the road is no worse than any mountain route, I just breeze along in no hurry, no really serious problems but there are a couple of villages that are a wee tight for "BIG" m/hs but its not a problem as they have one way systems the problem will only arise if like the Spaniards like to do when they just "stop" double parked and go shopping or talking to a friend they have spotted. Prats de Mollo a case in question.
Try it and enjoy if your not in a hurry, wonderful scenery lots of stopping places for overnighting and well off the bandit run.
Some mountain roads are OK and some are nightmares - I don't do drop-offs! Have a mad desire to jump off!
Think we'll try it: sounds like a nice change. We should be heading up there end of June. There is a site near Camprodon that we might drop into - plus a bit wilding.

The one I am looking at is Camping Vall de Camprodon. It is a Camping Cheque site and I have a few left so thought I would use them there.

Yes that's the one we have stayed on but its years ago and looking at the site on tinternet them trees have grown a bit and the site has expanded a lot and its a great deal more expensive now but your camping cheques will be of great use.
There was not a lot in the village, local shops and a couple of bars but the Tapas was great.
