Ours is fully fitted with hard rubber backed barrier carpet Can be lifted to pressure hose at the end of long trips

Its the first thing we do when we change vans, much easier to keep clean and essential on wet days with the dog

I must admit I was the first to insist on carpets, but when ours started to show signs of wear, I tried a holiday with just the original vinyl flooring. I thought it would be cold and uninviting. Not so. It is warm enough for the winter and so easy to keep clean compared with the carpet. I'm not sure how it would manage with dogs claws though.

I do keep a carpet sample - luxurious quality Wink under the table though for a reason I cant quite fathom Embarassed

If your cab is a Fiat X2/50 you can get a splendid, fully fitted cab carpet from Fiat main dealer spares department.
Its a really hardwearing, dark grey with waterproof backing.
Ours cost less than £40 3 years ago
