Out of curiosity are having problems with the drop down TV and fitted freeview or are you plugging an additional TV into the rear socket?
Both Gonna do a bit of a net search as have no real instructions so to speak. Annoying thing is anyone who knows how they work would probably have it up and running in minutes ! Patience isn't my greatest virtue
I'm sure it won't be the same issue with your's, but I'm reminded of the problems we had getting the freeview to work when we got our (2nd hand) Cheyenne. Prodded the buttons on the remote control labelled as freeview, nothing doing. In the end gave up (embarrassing, I've a degree in electronic engineering) and went back to the dealer, who gave me that "you're thick" look and repeated the same prodding around. Got their electrician, who did the same. They then investigated further and found that when the previous owner had a satellite system fitted, they'd removed the freeview box!!
Another big thumbs up for the Movelite Pro-Explore. We bought one for the same reasons as you, i.e. as somewhere to take off wet clothes and boots etc. We also have the Windblocker sunshades which are absolutely brilliant and, in my case, store in a canvas bag the size of a shoe box. If you buy them, get a set of their ratchet tie-down straps for the awning as well.
As far as Broadway is concerned, it's well under a mile into the village along a road with a footpath. In terms of pubs, if you turn right as soon as you reach the village green (the road to Snowshill), the pub up there on the left used to take dogs. I also think that the one at the top of the village does. I can't remember the name, but it's either the Horse and Jockey or Hare and Hounds, or possibly neither!
Just noticed that your 'van is similar to ours, in that your habitation door is very close to the front of the fitted awning. On our 'van, if we slide the Movelite all the way into the awning channel, the door fouls the front off the awning. We overcome this by simply leaving the first 150mm or so of beading protruding. It has no effect on the stability or useability of the Movelite.
Just to go along with Rosbotham comments. We used to have a tunnel awning but now only have the windblocker shades, front and 2 ends. Would agree with other post about buying their awning tiedown at the same time. They are excellent. I am not sure I would recommend the clothes line poles they supply to hang the end shades on, they are a bit flimsy. We use the poles from believe it or not an old Safari room awning!. They are strong! Our set is kept in a cloth carrier bag like you get free at shows 2 ends and a 4.5 mtr front plus 2 tiedowns!
See here for info Windblocker shades
Oh and the guy who sells them also has an Auto Trail may even be a Cheyenne!
