Well shortly after the post was made there did seem to be an improvement.

Just clicked it and I'd say it 5 or 6 seconds to load. I suppose this is OK, but it feels a long time when you are sat waiting.

that specific link Wilse is going through the database to show many different links and is more time consuming than standard use.

The usual speed factor comparison I use is how long to product a typical thread page as that is the most used page links on the site, and these typically render sub 1 second (if everything is ok)
