Hi

Ours did 188 miles to get here. The ones we had last week had done quite a few more, but most of that was in the van on the way back from Cumbria Smile

Our bread is always kept in the fridge. We have also keep a few loves frozen along with milk.

Im always amased at the number of people who didnt think you could freeze milk, we always do, but have noticed that Tesco 4 pint milk is prone to splitting when defrosted.

Andy

PS I cant belive I went down stairs and got an egg so I could check its number!

PPS Eggs about to come to a sticky end - SCRAMBLED Surprised

Ours came from Aldi about a mile away, but they did start out their journey in Kent 198 miles away.
They were all cold and hard when I got them so I put them in a pan of boiling water to warm them up a bit, got the bread out of the freezer (keeps for months in there) defrosted it and the 2 became one and then none. Luvverly.
An eggciting story of travel and adventure. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Over the last couple of months we have started keeping our eggs outside of the fridge. We were getting so many eggs from the fridge cracking when they were boiled because of the sudden change of temperature.
Now its only the odd one now and again.

If your freezer is starting to look a bit empty fill some space up with loaves. This will keep freezer running costs down.
