Dave, sorry to hijack the thread but my question is on-topic: during recent changes to my Avatar from seasonal to diabolical, I was limited to 80 x 80 pixels despite the fact that I assume I am classed as a subscriber as I pay my 24p per day (!) equivalent each year.

Any ideas why this might be?

You could be trying to use the wrong part of the profile entry page.

Use the 'Avatar Control Panel' and not the Profile photo control panel.

Can't see anything wrong with it.

Try this one. It's only 15Kb and 158 pixels on the longest side, so there's no reason why it shouldn't be OK.
