Only you know if the built in step is adequate for your needs, and if your main concern is that carrying an extra step is going to cause weight problems then in my opinion you've got something terribly wrong.

Then again if your concern is that you might be causing too much wear and tear by using your bulit in step then you must have very little confidence in the manufacture of your van.

For crying out loud, if that's all you've got to worry about in life then you're a very lucky chappy Laughing
