Ours came with a ladder and one of the first things we did was to make a perspex cover for it.
Yes it means it's very fiddely if we ever want to use it to go on the roof, but then the idea was to stop anyone just jumping on the back of the van and getting on to the roof.

As far as fitting a full cover over the MH we've taken the advice of other more experienced folks who say they can cause a lot of condenstion so we haven't bothered.

One of the reasons that led us to believe them is that we have two more or less identical motorbikes in our big barn, both put away totally dry. One bike had a full cover on it and the other had no cover at all, well it did for about a week until the cats tore it. Just checking them recently the one with the cover had mould and rust spots on it but the one without the cover didn't have any it was just a bit dusty. Coincidence may be but good enough proof for me to decide not to cover them in future.

I would say no.

Climb out of Heki. Or buy a small telescopic ladder.

Have got one but wouldn't go out of my way to have one fitted.

More pertinent question is why you want to fit a cover. Motorhomes are built to be in the outdoors you know...
