Just doing some price searches on Sat Navs and found this:

http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/snooper-s7000-truckmate-tmc-gps-sat-nav-system-02858110-pdt.html?srcid=369~Phones,%20Broadband%20&%20GPS~02858110

Is it the current version? If so it has to be a good buy!!!

Yes it is the current version, But for a MH you need the "Ventura" which is also advertised on that page lower down on the right, a VERY good buy.

Unfortunately they are only for 'reserve and collection' only. No home delivery!! Can't find any in stock in my local stores.

Not sure how one can tell if this is the latest version from the spec in the advert. There is no mention of Camper Stop and if continental touring is your thing this is essential.

I see that the Cardiff store has the S7000 ventura in stock.

I have the S2000 Ventura which is still available for home delivery.

Good points - accurate for height & width restrictions, excellent routing and sites database

Bad points - touch screen not sensitive enough, occasionally gets confused and slows down at busy interchanges.

It's not a bad sat nav, just not fantastic.

I have both, the S2000 for the Toad and the S7000 for MH, The S2000 isn't as good as the S7000.

Not so, just ordered one on line - no stock at local stores - selected 'Home Delivery' - no problem and the same excellent price Very Happy .

Also selected 3 - 5 days delivery time - free delivery, even better. Very Happy Very Happy

Saw this model advertised at the Manchester show for £400+, so this has to be one of the best deals going at the moment. Cool Cool Very Happy Very Happy

I'm buying this on your recommendations - correspondence from many months ago - if it's as good as my old trusted Tomtom Go910, I'll be a happy bunny Wink Wink Very Happy Very Happy

What's the difference between the S7000 Ventura and the S7000 Ventura Pro?

Lane Guidance?

Bord Atlas?

Spoken street names?

Input own POI's?

Currys/PC World seem to be selling the former

Cheers

Dave
