if you are useing all on board 12 volt systems... tv sat receivers cooking and heating with gas, when not on hook up, the 1KW generator would be fine and even the EX650 which I still have, never stoped working and I have never changed the oil in 30 years would do the job of all the onboard battery charging..... if you require to use the romsica, hair dryers, 850W microwave well you'll need at least 2KW or even 3KW..... I have had the cheepo 1KW Kipor, which has let me down on various occasions..... so now I have a honda EU20i and that seems a lot better for my uses.....
