In which case Alan, you credited me with expertise I don't possess. That isn't the one I recommended.

Cabby - the link works OK for me, but I'll repeat it here as a Tiny - see if that helps.

Hi Liamallen
If you plan to go for a fe months then you will be in a situation where you will have to wait for the bottle you are using to empty before refilling it (unless you do it when its not quite empty and so you will waste gas). With the gaslow or alu gas system that Zebedee mentioned this is a refillable bottle system which you refill at an LPG refilling station just like refilling a car. The advantage of this system is that it can be refilled at any time and you dont have to wait till the bottles empty. So when you pass an LPG point you can go in and put a few quids worth in and your off again.

As you are using the van long term this would be quite a cost effective option as you will likely use a lot of gas. the cost of LPG when refilling is a lot cheaper then buying bottles. You will find that the gaslow or alugas system will pay for itself.

Its up tp you of course but thought you would like a bit more info.

I have had a gaslow system and wont buy a calor bottle again. £20 for a bottle as opposed to £14 to fill 2 plus the advantages is quite good.

Phill

Thanks for all your help guys...although now I'm left a little confused lol. I have a UK regulator with a UK Calor bottle. I'm planning to be in Spain indefinatley as I'm going to be trying tostart up a business down there.

Do I need to take my regular UK regulator off and fit a Spanish one as shown in the pictures from Brian? If so with the rubber hose be the correct size to fit on the end?

Or should I buy an adaptor?

And how/where does the adaptor fit onto?

Laymans terms please...I can't wire a plug yet!!

If you have a regulator then just buy the adaptor to go onto a Spanish gas bottle and the correct pigtail pipe to go between that and your regulator.
