Just found this site with a link from uk.rec.motorcaravans.
I also subscribe to ukcampsite.co.uk who are a friendly bunch, I went on the first rally they organised last year & we are intending to go to a few this year.
We have had tents, trailer tents, caravans, campers & one motorhome. Currently we have a home built Renault Trafic, I only intended it to be a quick cheap conversion for a year or 2 (that was about 5 years ago). Our intention is to get a L/H Hymer A class (B534, B544 or B584) & have extended tours in Europe. The only thing stopping us at the moment is I can't retire & would have to use it for daily travel to work, parking is a major problem even with the car or my camper. Also only being able to use it for annual & odd weekends seems to be a waste.
Don't often use campsites & prefer wild camping both here & abroad.

Welcome Kontiki, you might have seen our trident chugging around town, next time flash and wave
Never mind a North Wales branch we could start a Wrexham one hah!! I use ours for day to day travel and find it a breeze but your big Hymie may be a struggle taking all the space in the Library carpark!! you may get mistaken for the mobile Library.
See you around
A

I must have been half asleep when I said 'welcome from north Wales' - I hadnt realised that you were from just down the road. I may be exiled in Flintshire at the moment but I'm a Wrexham girl (well actually a Jacko but I keep that fairly quiet).
I don't suppose anyone from outside Wrexham area will know what a Jacko is anyway.
I don't spend much time in town these days but I'll look out for you in the library car park when I occasionally visit the council offices.
