I had a BMW X5 about 3 years ago, when I ordred it the pricelist of options listed a webasto pre-heater for £295 (was 995 if you ordered a petrol version). when it arrived it was brilliant on cold days as it heated the water in the engine and the cabin.
However, on a recent VW T5 I ordered the Webasto and despite it being a water heater (not airtop) it only heated the cab and did not pre-heat the engine water and at £1000 pound I was disapointed to say the least.
