I thought I would try to post a reply using a quote like other clever people do, but can't work out how to do it. I got a reply which seemed to be going to quote the whole thread (near enough) Embarassed . I didn't think this would be popular, but then couldn't work out how to get rid of it again, or edit it, which I'm sure I have seen instructions how to do somewhere.
HELP before I crash the whole site!

Andrea.

I did this by
(1) clicking on the quote button.
(2) Highlighting the bit you want to quote with the mouse.
(3) Right click, and copy.
(4) Right click and paste into the message.
(5) Click on the quote button again.

I wonder if it works ?

Click on 'Quote' in the RH corner of the post you want to quote from.

The reply box opens up with the entire post enclosed between 'quote' and 'quote' in the box

You can split the full quote by inserting an 'end' quote [/qu**e]and another 'start' quote [qu**e] to open the post up.

If you want to leave the entire post as your quote then add you words either before or after the quotes or some at the front and some at the end if you wish.

If you only want to use part of the post then highlight that which you don't want and click 'delete'.

Hope this helps and doesn't confuse.
If you preview your post first you can see if it works for you before final submission.
You can alter your post and click 'preview' again (and again) until you have it to your satisfaction
