Hi all

I have just bought a new Carioca 656 with a 2.3 Fiat Diesel engine in it. My questions are as follows:-

1. What sort of MPG should I expect to get from it?
2. Would Cruise Control help with the MPG
3. Would a Van Aaken Black Box help with the MPG and overall performance .

Thanks in advance

Dave

Hi 656 (Dave)
Don't want to avoid the first part of the question but there are4 so many inponderables when using motorhome that it's difficult to say on mpg. Will you have water in your fresh tank? if so how much? How much gear in the vehicle? With passengers? On motorway or urban or rural roads? HOWEVER when I first got ours (2005) whichh has 2.3 TD Fiat engine I averaged a touch under 30mpg over about 1000miles in alkl conditions.
As for cruise control I wouldn't have thought it would help on our roads. tendency to make you lazy??
