Hi, why not look at the Talbot Harmony, we have one we have had it for a year and use it every day as our main vehicle, it fits into any parking bay, it has a tioiet, shower, grill, hob ect, blown air heating (for cold days) and is a 4 berth, it is compact and cosy, we have looked at other vans but still prefare ours, we paid Ģ9,000 on a H, i think its 1991. We wouldnt swop ours for anything. Good luck in finding one you like, Anne.

My particular van is 26 years young, but it only goes out of its garage in July for it's jollies in the S of France (but not this year, twin grandaughters has seen to that) and it has only 72K on the clock. You know the old saying? there's plenty of life in the old VW yet?
It's true.

Just to back up what everyone else has been saying...
I love our old wagon, yes it doesn't look as modern as newer vans, but it has the same facilities, does the same job and I don't have finance!
Don't worry about mileage either... so long as its been well maintained and go for a diesel.
If you get an older van and don't like it, you won't lose much when you come to sell. The loses could be a lot more if you get a more expensive newer van. And if you do like it, you can always upgrade.
Been down this road! Listing problems is easy! If its no toilet, its rust or a sheddy interior.
Your size of camper van/MH and budget dictates all to begin with. Finding the most important thing, the correct layout for you, is second.
Your going to kiss a lot of frogs before you get to a princess.
Hope you've got a bigger budget than me.
My current solution? A car & cheap deals with travel lodges!

Thats the problem Snelly, borrow!
I have hundreds of people bombarding me with loans of up to 105 zillion Ģs. After a life of being a good credit risk, my credit rating is thru' the roof. The there is a catch ... they want paying back!
I'm tempted by Peterboro because of all you nice people, I keep meeting but then I keep seeing MHs of modest proportions, that I can use as an everyday vehicle, with everything I need .... at Ģ36000
Answer to Drummers Dilemma going up soon!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the C15 romahome or would that be too small. Coachbuilt and never heard of a damp one. Space for porta potty. Regularily toured for a fortnight with two dogs. Hold their price but thats just a statement of quality. Need to check the C15 bit for rust spots if much over 10 years old. I had a bonnet and a door rust when fairly new but nothing structural until 14 years when a door sill needed welding.
