Hi there,

well after sussing out most of the bits and pieces on the sat system in the van, apart from a white box on the wall.

I'm now looking for a digibox and 12volt tv. I want to run both off seperate leisure batteries, tho one runs off the solar panel when its bright. anyway, both 12volt, does anybody know the best place and price/model to get a 12volt digibox?

The only one I have seen is a Pace 1000 minibox which is quite expensive (student :S)

Many thanks

Nick

If you only require free to air programmes then your best bet would be to wait for Lidl to offer their portable kit again (about £69 - must be due soon). These are dual 12v/240v, much easier to tune thana digibox and work with all satellites.

Just a quick query ..... Are they any good in Europe? I am hoping to hook the box up to my present satellite with a universal digital lnb?

Yes - fine in Europe, they come pre-programmed for Astra 1/2, Hotbird and lots of others.
