my advice would be do everything downstram from taking the picture digitally, unless of course you want to D&P your own but unless you take a lot of film, then your chemicals will go off before you've used them all up and you'll need to be prepard to cock up a few films in the learning curve.
Digital is far easier and you can do it sitting down at the computer.
So get your films devved as per normal but order a CD with them (about £3 extra). Then set about learning how to manipulate images and print them digitally from the CD. When you've learnt enough and are getting fussy about the results you can then start to think about improving the digital software/equipment you've got. |
