Jim
1. Check its a Maplins one and not from Butlins.
2. Get a 6 year old to set it up for you
3. Send the Memsahib up on to the roof and tell her she stays until you get a signal
4. Move from Essex
5. I'll get my coat.

Please make sure you don't collide with the Astra one
It took some of us a lot of effort to find the damn thing in the first place

Just got back from Maplins, the guy said they were selling like 'hot cakes' and had no returns. I explained the problem and what I had tried, he said it was unusual but it must be faulty as they were normally easy to set up.
Unfortunately there was 'nil stock' due to the high demand, so he gave a refund, new stock due in next week...
While looking around I saw the same digi box on sale for £49.99 , a good buy for someone who only needs a box.

Jim,
Just so long as you appreciate that should the next one not work for you, you'll never live it down
