Yes just compass.
The receiver is already set up but you need to change language to English.
I have not had long testing it but it did work on Eurosport.

I have sent you a pm.

Steve

SUCCESSS>>> at long last Very Happy

I decided to buy a different system from Maplin's, it's a domestic 75cm dish which comes with a pole and patio mount, this will easily clamp onto the rear ladder, I've got it set up and working, happy as a sand boy now...

I also found another good site which was responsible for my decision not to buy a crank up and go with a domestic dish.

Worth a look if your a sat virgin like me Wink

Nice one Jim,
Well that's the way to do it look what everyone else has and then decide on the reccomendations. Or in your case ignore them and find your own. I am very happy for you Jim does this mean you will be glued to the box now? How quick will the pics be?
As you know I only got mine set up last week and I can't wait to give it a full test which hopefuly will be next week at Bainland.
Which receiver did you get?

Steve

Have you tried more than one satellite?
More, more, tell me more!!!!

Hi Steve

I'm over the moon with it, I've tuned it to Astra and Hotbird, it came with an audible sat finder gizmo that works a treat, hundreds of FTV (I'm learning the buzz words already Wink ) channels no problem.
I'm going to install it in George tomorrow, the dish will mount easily on the rear ladder and if need be it could be mounted away from the RV if there was an obstruction, when George is on a pitch there is seldom any room to move him about so being flexible with the dish could be useful..
We are in the final stages of going fulltime, just waiting for a buyer for the house and then we're off.. can't wait..
