I have taken the campsite maintenance down for maintenance so if you get errors trying to use it over next few days dont worry.

I am adding the following capabilities:-
The ability to have 3 photos per campsite as this is more reflective of a site.
Whether it has MH washing facilities
What dates it is Open From
What dates it is Open Till
What Type of Site it is i.e. CL/CS/CCC/CS/Independent

Anything else I should be adding whilst im at it ???

Dave - whether it has a proper motorhome dump - and for RV's whether there is the facility to dump black waste tanks (this used to be a problem in the days when we had an RV - and is helpful if you have RV users on the forum.

Toilet facilities - good/excellent/not very good - I know this is relative, but women I think are a lot fussier than men, and does your partner use them happily? I know CC and CCC ones will be OK from experience, but CS and CL and commercial can be chancy - some excellent - others leave something to be desired.

Shop facilities close by - can you cycle to them - flat/hilly

Walks nearby?

Can't think of anything else at the moment

Carol

PS - Is this for UK only, or overseas too? - Haven't seen it as been away as you know

Agree with Carol, we girlies are a bit more fussy about WC facilities, how about dogs welcome, children welcome etc
if you don't have one you have the other????
Or sometimes both!

Dave did you mean washing facilities, ie laundry, tumble dryer, spin dryer, washing line or did you actually mean facilities to wash the motorhome itself?

The former is important but the latter is not so important, but could be listed - this is common in Europe but can't remember ever seeing it in the UK - but maybe I just haven't noticed.

Yeh!

How easy, or not, is it to get to the waste water disposal points. Those of us with onboard black water tanks need to drive up to a [b:06008b6683]floor level[/b:06008b6683] disposal point. This information is sometimes crucial in choosing a site.

Keep up the good work!

Lots of motorhomers have some form of walking disability, therefore availability of public transport/distance to bus stop/would be really useful.
Love the site, gained much useful information.

Add an se of access to waste facilities text box

Add a black waste facilities available section.

I have now finished all mods to the database apart from the ability to add 3 photos. I will implement that later when i am on faster/cheaper internet connection Smile

Take a peek, anyone who has submitted entries could they please modify and update them to show new information etc.

Please take a look at the database and add any entries as they will all come in usefull for future visitors in order to plan their routes etc,

Subject to feedback I have amended more bugs/issues with the database and added the ability to email the person who added an entry via the website to allow more information to be gleaned direct if needed.

Please do not hesitate to add your own campsites , wild camping spots etc to the database as I hope this will become a usefull asset of the site in the near future.
