Absolutely fantastic Jean thanks very much all I need to manage now is to download a manual from somewhere.
By the way 8888 gets into the protected menu
but 1111 releases the lock on the menu items, on my box anyway.
I modified the settings for 28E SE as you said in your previous post but cannot get a lock with my sky box so I can get the English digital channels.
But I will keep on trying.

Just found that if the dish is plugged directly into the Digi Box I can get sky ok so there is a quality loss in the MagicSat box enough to spoil the signal quality.
Found that chanel 450 was set up for finding the sky satellite.
So it looks as if I will have to set up the dish then move the cable over to the sky box, what a pain!!
But if anybody knows where I can download the manual it would be good.

I saw in your internet post that you have the same set as I have (Teleco Magicsat 2002a). You helped someone to correct the settings for the hotbird!
When I tried to do this I (my one fault, no blame one you!) I changed to wrong set (that of the ASTRA 19E, citeria 1 and 2). Also I forgot to write down the old values too...
Could you please look in your set and check what to values shoud be (and mail them of post a reaction with the values)???????????
I have a magisat 2002A that i am thinking of selling, just cant be bothered everytime there is an update to keep messing around, there must be something easier
