Sometimes firewalls can cause problems like you describe.

I have a message board on two of my sites, and some times when visiting them, they come up with similar errors, yet I’ve not changed anything, visit again the next day and everything is fine!

Hi Dave and Steve

thank you both for your prompt replies and ideas.
I do regular maintenance on the laptop, cookie clean-out etc etc so I doubt it's a cookie issue.
Firewall .. hmm could be, can't be sure, my broadband router has a built in firewall and I have also one installed on the Mac.
No worries though, the site runs smooth and quite fast ..perhaps it's because I don't use the Microsoft browser. I tried it but had problems loading so I use "Safari" (Mac's own browser) on this site. The problem is only on the Mac, my PC is error free..Guess it's a Mac issue.

Thanks again

Jim

With regard to browsers, I use Monzilla Firebird of which is far better for viewing multiple pages, however it does occasionally get confused as to where to place pictures and text boxes. But the dodgy placement is generally due to sites created by ‘pick and place’ web site building programs.
