The Alden Orbiter is fully automatic, and will allow you to select any satellite up there and enjoy whatever is being beamed down Free to air without the need for any additional equipment.

I have fitted one to my own van, because in my opinion it represents the best value on the market.

Hello,

I saw a dish advertised in LIDL with my local rag for around £70 in March I think. I considered it but then though! I don't watch TV at home, when will I watch it when away.

Suffice to say, I gave the LIDL ques a miss and recently when in France staying at La Chapelle St. Claude on the shores of Lake Annecy. An event called the world cup was taking place. Our Dutch neighbour produced a LIDL satellite dish and sat watching the match

WE LOST to Portugal

Each to thier own but spending 1k£ plus on a Satellite kit for a motorhome is well, Extravagant and poss given a few years maybe months might be like the Plasma/LCD tv thing ( a tenth of their original asking price).

Regarding the Lidl system, I have demonstrated how to set it up this weekend on the full timing rally, ask stew how quick it was, I did it quite a few times to prove the point ( about 10 seconds usually) however if I needed a fully auto system I would prob have the alden,and would buy it from Eddie if possible, in southern spain there is a limit to the english channels that can be got with a little dish, a 2400mm dish is required which is not feasable on a MH but in around Alicante (a bad area) about 6 usefull channels with a smaller dish including the Lidl one Smile

You ay that in MMM there is some offer on at £1200 fitted now that is a very good price a saving of some £500! I cant see the offer in either December or January issues which one are you looking at?

Mind this post may be a tad old cant tell without the date posted information that used to be attached to threads.

THought it may be but thanks for the confirmation.

In my yellow strip above any message shows todays messages including times etc but any message older than a day nothing logical is shown.

I wasnt aware that a theme is meant to be shown how dod i do that please?
