Not as practical as a Smart, but much easier to tow - especially if you are close to your maximum train weight and have nowhere to keep a smart-trailer.

They cost £4.795 - see

I thought they were intriguing until I sat in one. It's a knees to chin job whilst manoeuvring feet around, then if anyone else is sitting beside you, you both have to lean outwards

Errr, no thanks. Every mile would be a killer.

Dave

Thanks for the reply Dave, was only thinking of driving it from campsite to beach, shops trips out etc. Not down the RN's to the Med Coast!

Trev

Have too agree with Dave I tried one out and they are dreadful, as for safety Rolling Eyes Wobby

I also have a Q Pod, I use it locally and tow behind M/H, I love it, as for safety, I was originally worried but every where I go people slow down to look at it, almost not believing there eyes. The steering is very direct but with some practice, preferably off road it is good, bit like a m/cycle. the other controls, again like riding a m/cycle, very positive.
Starting problem! out of gear, choke out, quarter throttle starts well.
