I think it's a great idea, but am concerned that we could duplicate contents of motorhome dealers database, would it be too late to set up a common look up table?

also, noticed that Campbells are listed as
Croston Rd
Lostock Hall
Preston
Lancashire
I think that that site has closed and relocated to Kirkham, will try for more info on that.

Cool

there are only 6 entries thus far in the dealer database Twooks, and that system is actually a paid for service which costs me to utilise i.e. the find my nearest portion. Whereas this new system is based around counties which i can implement easily in a database and best of all its free Smile

I will probably remove the dealer database later on once this one is populated with data.

Steve (Averywildwildcamper) has sent me a suitable source of accessory shops which i am beavering away at converting into the correct format for direct import into the database. So hopefully by tmrw the database will be holding about 300+ entries Smile

I will then implement some form of duplicate check probably based around the telephone number and postcode to ensure any other dealers/shops added are unique entries Smile

If you're in database mode Wink we could do with a look up for 'stuff you need' - you started a thread a while ago,
with a section for wants req'd when you cross the water - gas types, hook-up connecters [connectors ?] n stuff

would've thought you would have more interesting things to do these days, how's it going - is it sunny there??, how's julie organising the laundry - got lots of wine in? Wink

ok i've added in duplicate checking against the phone number and postcodes so that should prevent any irrelevant entries, so submit away people

That seems a trifle sexist! I'll bet Dave's a dab hand with the laundry.

Anyway back to the point.

They stock a good range of accessories for motorhomes and are usually quite helpful.

Thanks to some sterling collaboration between myself and Steve (Averywildwildcamper) the Accessory Shop database now contains over 300 entries Smile

Please if anyone else has any shops to add, then please go the database using the link below and add them directly yourself

Love the map, and like the idea. Very Happy
Hate to be picky, but, well I mean I know you can't help it, being Southerners and all. Razz
but your geography for Durham and Yorkshire at least is a bit awry.
I can help you check if you like?
