I can help you there 'blue'. My best friend bought one from the Earls court show and picked it up at the end of March. He previously had a 2003 Caricoa 5 (read his review of it on this site). He is in the process of writing a review of the Mizar at the moment which will be on this site shortly. Briefly though, he is very pleased with it and is ideal for the 2 kids. I have been away in it with him and am also impressed. The best points are in my opinion-diesel heating, the massive over cab bed, the wonderful washroom, the lovely lounge and a cooker with a grill that actually works. Any minus points would be the duff fresh water filler (more comes out than goes in) and the stretch to get at the waste water valve under the van. I will gee him up to finish his review. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Ken
Thanks for the info. We looked at the Carioca 5 and opted for the Roller Team 141, 2 years ago and have been very pleased. We now need a bigger van and I think the Mizar is the best value at present. I noticed the position of the waste water valve and the fresh water inlet, but having looked at vans of £60k they are not perfect.
Tell him to hurry up with the review before I part with my cash.
Regards,
Blue |

Hi blue,
Having recently taken delivery of a new C I Mizar GTL Living, I must agree with everything Ken said.
This is, in my opinion, the best laid out European motorhome for families I have seen, and I have seen a lot, been looking for 4 months.
The space inside is huge, the bunk beds are great, the bubble over the cab is very big, the washroom is so roomy, the kitchen and fridge freezer is perfect, this is the first motorhome I have been in, that the kids could play hide and seek, this is in a vehicle that still only measures less than 7 metres.
I will be adding a full review very shortly, but if you have children (our situation is 2 adults and a 13 year old and a 17 year old plus 1 more sometimes, this has to be worth a consideration.
The quality is very good, having had mine now for several days I have had time to poke about, I like to take panels off to check things, and I have found nothing that concerns me.
If you require any more information you send me a pm.
