Hi Everyone ?
i have the above, but when I step in the rear entrance, its a bit bouncy. What I need is some sort of rear support/stabiliser (stabilizer). I thought of scissors Jack, but no one does 24-26 inch (60cm-66cm) jack. Does anyone know where I can purchase a device of sorts that can provide such support, or maybe kit that I can fit....I live in Kent.
Best Regards
John Cooper (Superparrot).

Hi
I know sounds silly, but have you looked under at the rear chassis for wind down steadies? I didn't realise I had them until I went looking for a water drain pipe.
If none there Fiamma do a rear steadies kit.

Hi Jim
Many thanks for reply, just taken another look (in case I missed it), but there is nothing there, just a spare wheel and loads of space ?
I will look into Fiamma along with a few others.
Regards

CAK have two basic types. They an electric set-up where the jacks unfold and come down on the push of a button. The second type is a manual where again they fold up under the bodywork, and are raised and lowered on a racket mechanism using a lever bar. I don’t think (or more likely I can remember) they do the wind down types you normally associated with caravans.
Prices, the electric ones will obviously be a couple of hundred (out of my budget, hence no specific price. However the ratchet ones where quite reasonable as a pair were well under a £100.
PS. Thanks for the email, its appreciated to get feedback

Hi John,
This is what you need
[img:880bf3edb8]http://homepage.ntlworld.com/monkley/motorhome/LegJack.jpg[/img:880bf3edb8]
The short ones are £37.87 each and the longer ones are £45.90 each inc vat plus about £12 for delivery
The big ones extend from 390mm to 550mm, obviously it depends where you mount them to get suitable length to hit the ground. But more details here.
