Greetings,

Quote:
We are going to be at the CCC Kingsbury water park site for the tues wed & thurs nights. Will be going to the show on on either Tues or wednesday. Any one else staying at this site.

We are looking at going down that way on the Wednesday or Thursday then going to NEC on the Friday, it all depends on Chris and if she is up to traveling and making a week of it before going to the Binton meet on the weekend after. We shall be going to Binton though as it is only a short break.

Do you get one if you print your tickets online?

We didn't, Chris. Just the printed tickets.

Local advice - stay away from Chelmsley Wood. Nasty area. Anywhere south of the NEC (A45) should be OK. Plenty of open countryside. Maybe you should head towards the Solihull area, just down the M42. Or up the M42, come off at the A5. There may be wild camping around the services on the M42/A5 junction. There's industrial estates all around there.

According to the Big Book and Streetmap, it's

, (Wheeley Moor Farm)

And it may be half an hour's walk from the NEC, but it's still a walk. Just looked again, and it's about 3.5km, as the crow flies.

Gerald

Edit - it's actually over the other side of the dual carriageway from where Streetmap thinks it is.

Couldn't book in anywhere close so have booked in C C&C CLUB AT Clent Hills. £15.40 FOR 2 NIGHTS SO SAVED £25 on fees. Still have to travel on Saturday morning but at least we found somewhere. Booked NEC tickets in advance too so looking forward to it now.
