Why do you guys like going to much?

Ah! kentandangela, we go for several reasons,

1, to see what we can afford
2, see what we can't afford
3, to check up on new models to see what improvements have been made
4, to check on ideas that we could use in our van
5, to see what accesories are on offer, they are much cheaper (normaly) at shows
6, a day out
5, to talk to other mhers and dealers

But we always spend too much, buy things that we want but don't really need, spend a fortune on refreshments, get tired out so by the end of the day we are both in a state of collapse!

So why do we go??????????????????

Thanks for the info guys. I think we'll come up for the day on Saturday.

There seems to be a piece of info missing from the show website - where the hell the NEC is!!

Now maybe natives just know, but I had to look on the NEC site itself just to find a postcode - and even that wasn't the easiest task.

I am a webdesigner by trade, so it really annoys me when sites get the rudimentary things like this wrong.

Yeah, I know where I am going now, I just expected the site to tell me at least a postcode so I could get my own directions - I live in google maps...

Didn't know it had a postcode. I thought you just went to "NEC, Birmingham".

In a sad way, I'm quite excited about the show. I don't know why - we're not in the market for a new van, we're not likely to be in the market for a new van for some considerable time, we've got all the stuff we're every likely to need, but I'm still looking forward to going Very Happy

Mind you, we've said all this before Rolling Eyes

Well this our first show since joining the forum. Really looking forward to looking around these new designs. We are staying Thursday and Friday night. Managed to find a pitch only one kilometre from the NEC. No extra charge for the car either.

whether long or short sleeved shirts would be most appropriate. Does anyone have any idea how warm/cold the NEC is likely to be?

Have visited scores of shows, and even 'done' some there. It's likely to be cold outside, and warm and stuffy inside. Haven't been for a year or so, but I'll bet it's the same.

So ... short-sleeved shirt, long-sleeved fleece which can be taken off inside.
