not that particular site - stayed at Camping de Peyrelade very near Millau - very good site if you get a pitch like we did right by pebble beach overlooking the river and soaring cliffs behind.

Wonderful area, we thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent there. Highlight was paragliding over Millau - that amazing bridge wasn't open then but had nearly been completed - stunning.

Hi,
Yes we stayed at Les Rivages last year about this time and it was quite good, decent size pitches with hedge surrounds quite a quiet site being about 1 km from Millau centre. The site can accomodate large RVs as well as there was one there when we visited which was towing a stonking great double deck trailer. The toilet blocks are a little, shall we say "tired" but they could have been freshened up this year. There is a restaurant on site and the food was very good although they were a bit enthusiastic with the garlic "which I love" .
Millau is a lovely town now that the bridge is open and the traffic has reduced a lot. If you do go there try and do the tourist bit and get the petit train which takes you through the back streets and lanes and shows you parts of the town which would never be seen. The visitors centre for the bridge is also worth a visit and there is plenty of parking there. We went back to Millau this year in May to visit the Georges and stayed in the Camping du Viaduc which was also quite nice but I think that Rivages probably is the better of the two. Hope this is of some help.

Tom,

Toujours a vacance

We stayed at a campsite and pitched on the R. Tarn bank which was very nice. They also have canoes that you can rent out for peanuts. It is in one of my stories and some pics in Pussers nest. It is where I first ate a horse and also the last place I will eat a horse too so it has significance in my life. You have vultures on the cliffs in front of you - what more could you want.
