Might help somebody!

The seat backs on our previous van, having lost the velcro pads had an annoying habit of landing on the floor at regular intervals.

We solved the problem by sewing small brass rings onto the top corners of the seat backs and screwing small cuphooks into the wall of the van. Just make sure the weight of the cushion is taken a little on the rings to keep them suspended. This worked very well for us.
