you can always just use steam radio, with AM and LW. If possible SW, also the FM. this should get you the news virtually anywhere you like. Smile Laughing

Hi there

I have a Sky+ box at home. I also have the old "ordinary" Sky box & remote that came out. Can I use the Sky card from home in the old box in the MH while travelling????

Not interested in the Premium channels, minimal cover will do.

Just want to know if it's worth taking the card or not.

Phil,

Yes.

Though it depends what you mean by minimal. You will still get free unencrypted channels without any card. I guess you have to phone to pair the card and box and phone again to pair the card with your home Sky+ box on return.

I bought a one-off £20 Sky card and paired that with my spare box in the van. If I want a wider channel selection I swap the boxes and their paired cards between home and van.
