Hi I am not to interested in trade stands at the moment, it is M/Hs I want to see, I just want to get the best possible deal on a M/H, that would be the main reason for travelling. What is the traffic like in the part of London? I would be coming from up North. Would the G-Mex, Manchester show be better if I can wait that long? Most dealers are saying I need to order now for a March 07 delivery, not sure if they are just saying this to get an order though?

Richard...

Hi, Richard

Traffic is busy, but not ridiculous over here in the East of London, especially over the weekend. The biggest problems could be the M25 - we've got roadworks at about the 1 o'clock position, which sometimes causes big jams. Again, the weekend should be OK.

You'll probably be directed down the M11, A406 towards Docklands, which is big dual carriageway almost to the Excel centre. Don't know what traffic will be like around the centre.

Thanks for the info Gerald, I would indeed be travelling down the A1, A14 then the M11 but on Friday. How bad do you think the traffic would be?

Richard.

Hi, Richard. Exactly where are you heading to?

I've done the A14 / M11 thing on a Friday evening, and although it's busy, all the traffic is going the other way - away from London. We can';t wait to get away Wink

During the day, if that's when you're coming, you should be fine. Once you get past 3pm, the northbound traffic gets busy, and if there's an accident (as there usually is somewhere along the line) it affects southbound traffic.

If you're heading near to the Excel centre, traffic around the junction of the A406 and A13 can be busy. Again, an accident anywhere within a 5 mile radius of that spot shunt everything onto one roundabout.

All in all, you should be fine. Sounds like you're coming! Very Happy

Gerald
