Any site where a beer and burger bar is less than 500m walk away is probably going to attract exactly the type of person I wish to avoid. So I dont go to those "Holiday" sites. I do realise that I may miss the opportunity to meet some really nice people but this is a risk I am prepared to take. Smile

As a genus, the Caravan Club sites tend to be my least favourite - as Krull so rightly remarks they do tend to follow a seen one, been to the lot approach to creating their own version of sanitised countryside. The one at Broadway is little more than a pebbled car park yet used to have some real character to it in the early days. The official 'dog walk' there is just a joke.

Happy to stay a member for all those wonderful CLs though! Even the bad ones at least have some individual character.
