Been trying to get an overnight stop for Saturday this weekend. Not a place in site. Tried all the campsites and clubs within striking distance and no good.
We were hoping to set off from Manchester eraly Saturday morning and spend the night as near as possible and then go to the show Sunday.
We missed the 2NEC shows due to work and holidays and were looking forward to this one.
Anyone any ideas?

Can only suggest looking for a site on the outskirts of London and then travel in by public transport. As has been said on another post, this show is not motorhome specific being camping & outdoor leisure themed. Last years show was not very impressive and I personally would not consider travelling all the way from Manchester just to have a look around. Better to wait for the NEC show early next year IMO.

Right now I´m having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I´ve forgotten this before.

Have to agree with Brisey there I'm afraid. Last years show was distinctly unimpressive, we only live 50 minutes from London (by train that is, about 2 hours by car ) but we are not going again this year.
I think it would only have been worth travelling from Manchester if you could have camped with C & CC Club on the Excel Car Park, presume that is all booked up?
Why not wait till next year and come and camp with us for a great weekend at one of the outdoor shows!! I'm not prejudiced of course

for details of the National Motorhome Show. Details of all the other shows where we have rallies (These are not formal, we just park up together) are lower down the main page after the last 30 posts. There are loads of photos in the photogallery in fact a whole section devoted to Rallies and Meets.
Have you tried *** here ***? it's a big old site, just near to the M25, and probably less than half an hour from the Excel centre.

Hello Gerald,
