It did indeed Brian and for a tranche of other reasons to like its power to weight ratio, the fact that it had a wheel on each corner and was very easy to throw about.... Great design as well. However Audi and others soon found that 4 wheel drive was the way to go, but I don't think there are many 4X4 motorhomes available Laughing

I have a RWD Trannie-based Autosleeper, automatic as well. The only teo times I have been stuck was when I was trying to reverse on or off a soggy pitch. One occasion was at Binton where I didn't make two feet off the tarmac. However I was amazed and impressed how all the FWD'ers made it out onto the rally field and back off on the Sunday. Incidently we stayed a further day at Binton and the rally site was already starting to self-heal by Monday morning.
