For me a rear lounge bed is my ideal. Over head cabs are tricky to get in and on Two Loos, there were several times when I put my foot into a sink full of water getting out. It is however an ideal time to break wind for maximum affect either getting in, or getting out, which is about the only plus point I can think of.

I don't fancy the idea of having a fixed double bed taking up valuable floor space although I would admit the large storage underneath fixed beds does look nice. It must be one of those things where real experience makes all the difference and I have yet to experience a single night in a proper motorhome Sad

I have a fixed bed and it does eat into the floor space. As you say, the storage underneath is good but for me, it is so, so, so convenient.
