I saved about £10,000 by getting a LHD (and buying in Spain), I have seen it said that it will not be worth much when it is sold, but I don't care, it will not be me selling it, it will be my children when I am gone.

You don't do much overtaking except on motorways so the different side you drive from is irrelevant.

HOWEVER, before the Hymer I had a VW Westfalia, T4+poptop roof, and because all the weight, (driver, cooker, water, waste) are all on the same (left) side PLUS the road naturally sloping towards the left, I felt I was driving in the gutter. The feeling never quite went away. So if you're buying a little one try it first if you can. The Westfalia on the continent was fine, the crown of the road meant it ran flat as you would expect. This feature is not noticeable in the Hymer, not at all.

Also, the wife did not like sitting on the outside, but that problem was solved with divorce. There wasn't much she did like so I cannot say how seriously to take this! Rolling Eyes

Hi astra

Try searching on "Ford TIS" instead. Many of the later ones are on DVD so you might not find them with CD in the search.
