Hi there nukeadmin,

Don't know if there is a list of municipal sites only (would be quite large for a start) but I have used

(in conjunction with other guides eg. A. Rogers etc)
With pagesjaunes "activite" type in camping go down to "departement ou region", type in or use drop down arrow according to area you're in (note small union jack in top r corner Smile )

Another useful site (only to be used as a supplement to m/home facts - not as a substitute Laughing ) is this one

As you will obviously know by now, typing 'camping in france' into a search engine would keep you busy for the entire duration of a holiday Exclamation

Not a website but the Aires book has municipal sites in too, and the 2 or 3 we used were excellent.

the Aires booki s a useful source for all campsites, we tend to favour municipal sites and wish there was an easy way to isolate them Smile

It's only £7.69 from Amazon.co.uk, but you do have to pay postage (£2.75 to UK) unless you order £25 worth of things. Delivery is usually very quick.
