Hello Everyone,

i was just browsing and came across this forum, i am actually a dealer for the CPT motorhome so i thought i'd shed some light on whats happening with the 2007 model.

i was present at a meeting with SEA UK and the design and production managers for Elnagh, the itallian company that build the CPT motorhome.

design work for the 2007 model CPT has been put on hold until Fiat release their automatic gearbox. this is due to happen in september, once this has happened Elnagh will go into the design stages for the CPT. i am expecting to receive the first information on specification and pricing at the beginning of october. Brochures will then soon follow. I am expecting to receive the first new motorhomes towards the end of november.

Edit: “The contents/partial contents of this post have been removed by moderators due to possible contravention of the site policy on advertising. Please contact a moderator if you have any queries.”

I appreciate the 2007 CPT has been a long time coming, but i have been assured by Elnagh that it will be a great improvement on the 2006 model and will encorporate a cassette style lift mechanism.

the other huge development is the confirmation that it will be available on a right hand drive automatic chassis.

thanks

It's soon here. I was able to find prototype pictures from late October and pricing information.

If this prototype is going to production, it seems that it's more of a facelift.

Why can't they put a proper lift in? I would not like to put our electric chair on that paltform and no safety edges. A ricon lift is much better and takes the weight.
It still looks awful. As a person about to buy a new motorhome these do nothing to interest me!

You got that right. The previous lift is awful enough, but at least it has a safety railing.

Ricon or braun would of cource be nice, but it's of course down to cost. Putting braun swing-a-way in would not even be a weight issue.

But I like they way they designed the interior. Can you tell me what do you think is awful ?
