Once again thank you all for your observations, and for all the work done by posters when reading the previous threads. (Thanks Gerald).
It is clear that the main reason for converting to Gaslow is convenience, with cost effectiveness only coming in for those who use their 'vans for long periods.
No one can tell the future, but with management and I both retired I would like to think we will use our van quite a lot (If I can drag her away from the grandaughter).
As our Tribute will be a gas virgin when she is delivered I think I will go the Gaslow route.
Ironically I had already arranged for the dealer to exchange the gas only water heater for a gas/elec unit so I may need to think further on that now. I will see what size Gaslow units can be accomodated first.
