the medal - its there. As to your problem am I right in thinking that you are saying the problem has nothing to do with the internet but that your son's computer cannot see your hard drive. I hasten to say that I am by no means an expert in these matters but you need to set your hard drive to be a slave drive by means of moving the connector over on the drive it self. If you look at the end of the drive you will see the connectors. Then in the bios settings you need to tell the computer there is a second drive. I quickly hasten to add that I built computers prior to plug and play so I might be out of touch.

Try pming Snelly, he might be able to give you more detailed help.

Ehh! Shocked... my head hurts.

Thank you Stew.

Got me medal, many thanks to all concerned.

I should really get in touch with my son, as it is his computer but my brain (hard drive)...AH! that would explain why it's not working correctly.
He thinks I'm a bit of a whiz kid with vehicles, I don't want to expose how thick I am with other devices ie, computers, videos, sat TV set-up and a lot of other everyday items that the kids of to-day take for granted...did I mention texting?

Plus the fact that he may give me a rollicking if he has already explained 'how to' and I have forgotten, but can't remember, if you see what I mean?

OK Hands up , I am the culprit who posted an Album ( unintentionally )as pic no 1.
I have now deleted it and replaced it with an individual pic but the Album caption won't go away.
One of the tips ( or both ) by Peedee and QE2 did the trick as far as the adding photos problem was concerned---thanks a lot.

I didn't have any problem with running a slide show except for the fact that pic no. 1 didn't come up.
If pic no. 1 is still a problem I would appreciate further tips to overcome it ---- when I delete it it comes up blank , no highlight . If left like this it could be my legacy ( no apologies to you know who ) . I then added the current pic.

Sorry , Sorry.

Denboy

No probs Denboy, good of you to own up, as Artona ses he will tidy up in due course. Think there was more to it than just your picture. A few minutes after my posting I went back to have another look and could indeed do the same as you whereas prior to my posting the slide show just wasn't there. May have been finger trouble on my part but who knows. Anyhow all is now well, thanks.

Hi

I love organising comp this and seeing all the photographs that are entered.

This round especially is an exciting one with the photographs showing where people have been in their motorhomes.

Just bumped this back up and to ask a query for a later round

Can a landscape be a landscape if it has no land and/or is in portrait format?

For example a sunset over the sea?

Hi Frank

Interesting question. The photograph you describe is a natural scene, which is certainly a definition of landscape.

I think the answer to your question from my point of view (as photo admin) is that unless a photograph breaches the grounds of decency we will not be disqualifying anything. However the comp will be judged by the members of MHF and I think the membership will generally want to see that the photograph fits the description.

The moon over the sea, is it a seascape or is it a landscape with lots of water Smile

Seems to me that the entry rate has dropped off a little in the last week

So I've bumped it again

My Motorhome

There's only so many pics you can take of your motorhome (or campervan) a lot of the modern motorhomes are much of a muchness. Perhaps the next categories will be more entered into?...does that sound proper English?
