Just when you need it, T-Mobile's 3G seems to be down. Has anyone else experienced this in the South (Thames Valley)?
It's the usual problem: the whole network or just my card?

The wind storm blew our home phone lines down last week. Have yet to see anyone from BT working on it!

Hi

In the really heavy rain and storm yesterday, I lost my connection too. And the satellite TV!

Russell

PS - you are entitled to compensation from BT - phone 150 and they will tell you how to claim. It is a lot of money believe it or not - I think it is £5.65 per day, after the first three days, or something like that.

Happened to us a few months ago when staying in Abbey Wood which is one of the strongest signals. Contacted T Mobile who confided the problem was on their side. Maybe worth calling.

Thanks Legend654

I did just that (used SayNoTo0870 to find their number). The lady said that they experienced problems from the storm and should be back up and running today.

As it is a friend's card (borrowed) I couldn't really negotiate for compensation!

Russell - thanks for the tip. Will alert all the houses that are affected! Very Happy

Roger

Hi

Check it first with BT - I remember claiming and it was due to a fault on the line. I was without the phone for about a week and I remember being told I had to be off line for a number of days after reporting the fault.

Wonder it if applies in a storm as it was not their fault - let us know!

Russell
