I don't know but it certainly looks good for the money.... just one tip ..your laptop or PC will need to meet or preferably exceed by a good margin the minimum requirements for any of these sticks to work correctly.

Well, I've ordered one. We go to Belgium for a few days on the 1st of Feb, so will let you know how it turns out. I also intend to borrow one of those powered aerials.

A chap at work used one and swore by it - I saw it working and it was OK.
Keep us up to date, please.

Roger-that looks to be a good product and as there's a no quible guarante it seems a "no lse" deal
But- would you have to use an extension antennae lead from the normal tv socket (in my case in a tv cupboard in top of m/home) and connect to laptop? I don't have an aerial connection in lappy so where does it go? - I know it comes with an aerial but I unsderstand it's best to link with your normal tv aerial (Status?) Sorry if it's a daft question!

During the world cup we bought these at work to watch the Footie. They are really good. Used it with the Laptop last year in Denmark, Sweden and have also used it over here (not to record programmes even though it does do this) You plug the USB stick into the Laptop or PC and the Aerial connector is at the end of the USB Stick. Needed an extension to reach our aerial cable socket - couple of quid I think. On our PC's at work we only used the stick on aerial on the window.

REDSONJA So what did you manage to pick up in Scandinavia last year using this stick. You would have picked up their digital programmes but not English freeview I take it.
Just a little point as I understand this product reading between the lines. It is only for digital freeview reading the instructions on the website. Will it take an aerial supply linked through a satellite sky box or an ordinary aerial signal for BBC ITV etc if you are parked in an area ( and there are plenty of them) where theres no freeview signal ?
Where they quote it will record a TV signal do you realise that it will only record the programme you are watching if you have the tele on at the same time. These stick thingys
wont let you watch one channel and record another like you can on a normal DVD / VHS recorder.
On the website they mentioned three other products that work well with the TV stick, I just wonder how many of those you need to purchase also to get the full benefits of this product.
In my mind its too cheap to be the full monty on its own. I would be wary of it especially when parking in areas for instance like the C/C site in the middle of Bristol at Balkan wharfe or a camp site just a mile from GCHQ in Cheltenham. We stayed at both of these recently and couldnt get a freeview signal on a pukka high gain house type aerial that I had mounted on a pole for a trial.
Down in Dorset we get a fabulous signal on freeview. If I had one of these I would like to know I could still route my sky signal through the thing and use my Laptop as a stand alone TV for all the areas where there is no freeview signal.
