Apologies if I have misunderstood your posting but I have read it a few times and it sounds as though you think I am in disagreement with Chris's posting. Far from the truth my friend, I agree with Chris totally in that you must not fall for a salesman's ploy of befriending you, rather use the ploy against him and who knows it might pay dividends as it did for me at Oaktree Motorhomes. They like me so much they even supplied me with about £100 worth of spares I needed almost a year after I bought my motorhome off them and told me to simply call it a Christmas present.
During the negotiations when I bought the motorhome I had a real laugh with their chief salesman and we chatted about each others family etc. At the end of the negotiations (which lasted three weeks on and off) I had got a discount equal to 19%.
I was happy, they seemed happy and we had all enjoyed ourselves

A Swift?? no no, don't no what size or layout you want, but I have a Benimar Perseo 710stc which is going for £32,950. no extra's to buy, solar panel, aircon, uprated 2.8 fiat engine awning, tele, microwave lovely woodwork lovely big shower/toilett bed accross read onloy 30" high easy to climb into, full with garage underneath. extra plugs. Only reason we are changing is cause we are both on warfirin and feel the cold, so are changing to an A class, but hundreds of mh's are low profile with cab and theres no problem. It would be better value than a Swift, but everyone to their own. if you want full pics and details m me.
